It's been a busy five months since we left for Dubai on Labor Day. We got back home on Sunday, November 15th, and barely got the mail sorted and the laundry done...and left on Thursday to go to Colorado for Thanksgiving. We cared for the boys while Sarah and Joel went on a getaway in Mexico a week. Got home the first week in December, decorated for Christmas, and then left again for a month in Georgia.
It was a whirlwind, but great fun to reconnect with the kids and grandkids. The Jacobsons joined us for a few days to Celebrate Christmas. Aimee arranged for a friend to take some family photos. Wish I had the energy to post some pictures of our adventures hiking, opening gifts on Christmas, decorating cookies and gingerbread houses, Star Wars games and movies, visiting the Georgia state capital, watching Faith play soccer....but alas life overtakes and I just cannot manage it right now.
