Dinner Cruise on The Creek

After a very busy couple of weeks we had the opportunity to go on a dinner cruise with some friends.  It was a beautiful clear night and very pretty on The Creek.  The three course meal was very nice with lots of tasty choices...salads and breads, entrees, and desserts.

Have I mentioned Flat Anders who is with us for a couple of weeks from Colorado?  He has been going with us around town and I have been sending pictures and reports back to his 2nd grade class.
Very fun!  He discovered the UAE flag at the back of the boat last night!

During the day when I have been down at The Dubui Creek I have noticed a lot of boats, but did not realize now many old dhows there are that do dinner cruises - until we went out at night and enjoyed the views!

Very pretty all lit up...

All shapes, colors and sizes...

This is a gorgeous strip of museums along the creek, as well as one of the former sheikh's homes.

There are many outdoor restaurants along here by the outdoor living museum.  They are just starting to open up as the weather get cooler and people want to be outside.

It's pretty during the day but even more spectacular at night.

Enchanting!

Don't quote me, but I THINK this is one of the present Sheikh's yachts and one of his homes behind it...

Flat Anders...I wonder who is having more fun? You looking for new places for him to find or Anders and his classmates coming along for a visit?
