Low Key Day

Definitely needed a low key day today....didn't even take a walk!  The weather is SO nice compared to the other times we have been here.  That first time it was 100 to 120 the entire time.  We pretty much hung out, went to the City Center Mall to get money exchanged into Dirham and bought some groceries for the next week or so.  Met some new people, and a friend made a wonderful chicken pie dinner.  We ate outside on the patio.  Really Really nice to be able to sit outside and chat and not have moisture on my upper lip!

We leave here in a few minutes to go pick up Aimee, Gary, Faith, Avery, and Ryan at the airport.  They flew through Amsterdam and were delayed for an hour.  They must have made up half of that time because they will arrive only 1/2 hour late.  I'm guessing they will be weary but still excited.

Planning to sleep until 8 again tomorrow, have some breakfast and head off to one of our favorite activities in Dubai...Redeemer Church of Dubai.  Can't wait!  For those of you who have not read my blog in the past, the weekend here is Friday-Saturday with worship starting the weekend off on Friday morning.  Hopefully I will have more energy tomorrow and take a few pictures to post!
