Today Flat Anders arrived in the mail. He will be with us for a couple of weeks, joining in on our adventures. Anders' teacher asked me to email to assure he arrived safely. Fun awaits!
Andy and I made a trip to ACE Hardware and IKEA today and guess what we found!!! Christmas decorations! Can you believe it? They obviously cater to all the expats who live in Dubai!
I liked that they do not consider it to be "the holidays". No, no! It's Christmas! Complete with manger scenes.
Loved this section with all the camel ornaments, cards, and wrapping paper. Really fun.
And ACE had a big Halloween section as well...
Oh my, we just had thunder and a rainbow...but no rain!
Went with some friends to the furniture store at the Arabian Center this afternoon. One of the gals is moving to Dubai and needs to fill a 3 bedroom house...all.....at.....once..... Can you imagine? Never had to do that!
This evening we had another wonderful Filipino supper made by Diosa and Rommel. It was wonderful.
Continue to pray for my cough and slight cold. I went to bed by 9 last night and slept well until about 2:30 when I woke up coughing and could not stop. Had to sit up and sorta sleep the rest of the night. Ugh. Really need to feel well to have a happy heart and keep up with the pace. Thanks!
