One Last Meal

One last meal together before we caught our flight out...at the House of Balaleet.  It is not to be missed when you visit Bahrain!

Love the way they decorated this little restaurant with local pottery!  Very cute place with a very friendly and fun loving owner!

Here's the menu...you fill it out yourself.  We ordered a variety of dishes from eggs to chick peas...and everyone shared them.  Plastic tablecloths in place and flatbread for dipping and serving yourself. 

It was a great spread!

This was almost a dessert...fried and covered with date syrup!  Yum!

The owner is the guy to the right...he took a liking to our little group and took a ton of pictures, putting them on social media.  It was great fun and wonderful food.  Three fantastic Bahraini meals in three fantastic days!
