We saw a. couple of varieties of flamingos...and an eagle flew by. They migrate down from Iran at this time of the year. Many types of birds will be coming this way in the weeks ahead so Andy and would like to go back later in December.
There was a serious birder there with her binoculars. She was seeing many varieties of small birds and enjoying the experience.
We had a leisurely picnic lunch and talked for quite a while around the table. Andy and I had questions for Gary, who works in the political world. Was fun.
Before we knew it, it was three o'clock and time for the Marx family to get picked up to go on their Dune Bashing adventure in the desert. Some got queasy tummies but they enjoyed the ride. They rode camels and had a spicy dinner with a show, too. Check it out online - it's a fun evening you don't always see in the US.
