Another Walk

Really feeling better as I have had opportunity to be outside and walk more in the past few days.  Today I got in 5 miles and this evening it was ALMOST chilly as we ate dinner outside. Nice!

 

I walked by four different mosques as I looked for a store for Andy - a store that sells a certain brand of outdoor satin varnish he needs to refinish two tables - in the kitchen and outside patio.  I looked through three outdoor malls all within a mile of our house.

I love the white and sandy tan of many of the homes.  The creativity, the simple lines, but the way they integrate and stack the condo/apartments is interesting.

 

Political statements in the UAE...

 

One of our favorite local restaurants...very few chain restaurants unless you consider the US chains.  

 

 

I rediscovered a park I enjoyed last year - lots of families out for a nice afternoon.
