Into a rhythm...

Starting to feel like we are getting into a rhythm...we have been here about two weeks now and are acclimating to the time and temperatures that are so different from Milwaukee. We are sleeping better and that helps a great deal.  Our days are filled with the normal everyday life needs and events...planning and preparing meals, doing laundry, enjoying new and wonderful relationships, dealing with unexpected interruptions, and telling stories!  Days fly by and we go to bed weary but satisfied.  All in all, we are enjoying our time here!

I went to the mall to walk again this afternoon.  I've noticed a few women looking at my tennis shoes with a questioning look on their faces...as they pass me by in their high heals and high fashioned sandles. Ha!  I just smile...I'm not sweating so I'm a happy camper.

I also noticed a new store today...a LEGO store.  The camel was a nice touch and quite a creation, life sized for sure.

I also walked down an end of the mall I hadn't seen before...I found a huge bowling alley, a place where you can "sky dive", and a huge amusement park for little kids.  They had signs that other attractions would be added soon.

Don't forget to stop in at Garrett's... the hot ticket is the cheese and caramel corn combo - not recommended before bedtime. :-)
